I signed with Lemonade a few months ago and recently had to file my first claim ever with them. My claim was completed and a few things in the process were excellent. Because I was in a non-English speaking country, where communication would have been difficult, they didn’t make me file a police report, which was great. However, they did have some very critical technical failures in processing my claim. For whatever reason they could not receive my emails, and so I had to send them the paperwork more than a few times. Talking to agent that was dealing with my claim, he claimed it was an ongoing issue. There was no available solution to the situation and I had to wait long days for this problem to get solved. Overall they were great and I don’t plan on replacing them with another insurance company, but some of their technical issues in the process could have been handled better, yet I am sure they are improving on this aspect too.

I was thinking of something not positive to write about Lemonade insurance company, but just couldn't find one. Pleased with their service in every possible aspect. Had a damaged roof, they paid it fast and supported and instructed me all along. If I could only have them in the past 25 years as a homeowner that I spent on a different company that wasn't as great. If you're reading this, change your homeowners insurance company to Lemonade now! Great choice!

I got pet insurance through lemonade. For the insurance they have you go to the vet to get a health check up. During the health check up my cat was healthy, but had a lump. The vet did a cytology and determined that it was a cyst. There was some hardened material, but the results showed no cancerous material and I was referred out to a surgical center to have the cyst removed. 2 months later, when she went in to have the cyst checked the vet was worried it might be more. They checked her lungs and again, everything was healthy. But her leg were the cyst was had to go and the vet was worried it may be something more. They had to take her leg and when they did, they did a biopsy and determined this was actually a fibrosarcoma. This was 2 months after I started the policy. But they are trying to say it was preexisting and won't pay out the claim. They're just trying to take money from people and don't want to hold up their end of the contract.
